The first meeting of the SPIE / OSA Chapter took place on March 17th, 2021.

The first meeting occurred on March 17th, online, where current members and prospect members were presented to the new presidents of OSA and SPIE Chapters.

What is SPIE / OSA
SPIE an international optical society founded in 1955, whose mission is to establish partnerships between researchers, companies and educational institutions to encourage research and technological development related to light.
And we explain that OSA is an optical society founded in 1916 and has the mission to promote the generation, application and archiving of knowledge in optics and photonics and to disseminate this knowledge throughout the world.
